Featuring 3 swimming pools, a dive centre, and a restaurant, Sunshine Marine Lodge is situated on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Atoll, in a wild and unspoiled bush, far away from busy city life.

Rooms with views to the beautiful gardens, or the breathtaking Indian Ocean.
Every room features a furnished balcony or balcony, free Wi-Fi, fans, mosquito net, safety deposit box, kettle, a bottle of water daily, and tea & coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathrooms are equipped with a shower.

Sunshine Marine Lodge also offers their guests access to a beach area on Sunshine Bay, our sister property. This private beach features a restaurant, beach bar as well as umbrellas and sun lounges.
Guests can take a complementary shuttle multiple times per day.

There is a wooden jetty leading down to the beach at low tide and to the sea at high tide. Guests can also relax by one of the pools. Dive Point Zanzibar offers scuba diving and snorkeling.

The property also features a Body & Mind Harmony Centre. The space was designed with yoga practitioners in mind, but can serve many other purposes. Yoga classes available.

Guests can enjoy local and international cuisine at the restaurant and drinks at the Boat Bar. There are several lounge areas, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Sunshine Marine Lodge is located 55 km from Stone Town and 60 km from Zanzibar International Airport. Located just in front of Mnemba Island, the lodge is a 20-minute drive from Matemwe.

„Sehr gepflegte Anlage direkt am Wasser und mitteln in Jungles!
Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel in einer einzigartiger Lage - direkt am Wasser, mitten im Jungles und mit Blick auf Mnemba. Sehr freundliches Personal, excellentes Essen, professionelle Führung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!

„Tolles Resort für Tauchurlaub und Erholung
Sehr schönes Resort im Nordosten, sehr ruhig, wunderschöne Anlage mit sorgsam gepflegten Garten. Die Zimmer sind groß und haben alles was man braucht. Das Personal ist super nett.
Die Anlage ist etwas abgelegen, für einen strandurlaub deswegen nicht so ideal. Es hat keinen Sandstrand, was uns als Taucher nicht gestört hat. Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen. Die Küche ist vielseitig und sehr gut gekocht. Die Preise sind dafür eher hoch. Die Ausflüge und Shuttles sind zu teuer.
